tag you're it

Microsoft just announced their investment in Microsoft tags. Now looking for partnerships it seems that mobile tagging might have some legs and implications. I have always been interested in tagging for its interactivity with content. It can provide some great marketing insights as well as develop ways of measuring effectiveness of ads. The only poor part is (as with most emerging media) the adoption is not there. I think a major push by microsoft and adverstisers could create some really unique consumer experiences. Below is a really crappy Microsoft video that tries to explain tags...again its really crappy and probably couldn't get anyone excited about them...
