He is dope. He is an artist. He is authentic.His style contains a unique blend of design and hip hop. The style represents the true artistic form of hip hop with the turntable, street art and sound. There is something so real and authentic about his work it is hard to pinpoint exactly what that is. What I do know is that when I first saw his work I had the feelings of growing up writing graffiti, mixing records with friends, block parties, running around the city, break dancing and of course guzzling hip hop music. Maybe its his ability to combine the many elements of hip hop culture, including hip hop's influential roots in jazz, and to make that emotional connection...like it was back in the old days.
