Timely technology

Completely self serving to Toyota, but a cool concept nonetheless. Check out their Ideas for Good website.

Head injuries are a hot topic right now within professional, college and youth football. There are some really sad stories out there proving football is causing severe brain issues. Check out former college buddy of mine who recently passed.

It is great to see innovation and technology responding to some of society's major issues.

vodka and scary dreams and vikings

I had to fan their Facebook page. Although this effort probably only relates to .1% of the population...it kicks ass. I guess I am part of that .1% :)

close your eyes.

An interesting new stimuli utilized in an advertising message by BMW. This new approach seemed to wow consumers.

Could have some fascinating implications, especially within more immersive environments or even experiential marketing where you could create eyes-closed experience by initiating pitch darkness. Could be even cooler if there wasn't a brand logo showing up at the end.

innovation in skateboarding

Kilian Martin brings new movements to skateboarding taking the art form in new directions. There are blends of old school riding with new school tricks, but it is his ability create movements which sync with one another, reflective of poetry. These harmonious acts of art have developed new ways to look at skateboarding as a whole and hopefully will evolve further to create new beautiful exhibitions.

Beautiful work being done down in Miami by culture-jamming champion, Ron English. Ron English has been keeping busy...I am sure the local community is thankful for his drive as well.

copy cat

I love the video. The statement is that copyright isn't as legit because all art is a copy of previous art. This only looked at statues, but an interesting viewpoint nonetheless.

in nyc today? become the man

Via The Urban Speaker! This art installation allows anyone to broadcast their voice in public. The installation has a number where people can dial in and record up to 60 seconds. Also equipped with a QR code, users can access the mobile site via phone and utilize for quick dial. This culture-jamming execution is intentionally trying to push the boundaries of media and public space, especially who is allowed to distribute messages.
