Timely technology

Completely self serving to Toyota, but a cool concept nonetheless. Check out their Ideas for Good website.

Head injuries are a hot topic right now within professional, college and youth football. There are some really sad stories out there proving football is causing severe brain issues. Check out former college buddy of mine who recently passed.

It is great to see innovation and technology responding to some of society's major issues.

close your eyes.

An interesting new stimuli utilized in an advertising message by BMW. This new approach seemed to wow consumers.

Could have some fascinating implications, especially within more immersive environments or even experiential marketing where you could create eyes-closed experience by initiating pitch darkness. Could be even cooler if there wasn't a brand logo showing up at the end.

the art is coming at me

Evan Roth is ripping it up once again with some 3D graffiti art realized. Literally.

You may know Evan from compelling projects such as L.A.S.E.R. Tag, Graffiti Research Lab, F.A.T. or the amazing EyeWriter work he did. To say the least this guy has been fusing technology, art and culture together in unique ways for a long time. It's how he gets down.

do something with your life

make a 2 mile camera remote. I thought this was cool little project. I want to set up on my neighbor's rooftop and take pictures of myself on my roof top just for the sake of it now.

design + function = Sanyo

The new Sanyo bike is super rad as it charges itself throughout your ride so that when you have to tackle hills it will do most of the work. I have a feeling these types of innnovations will increase larger adoption of bicycle riders, especially within metropolitan areas. Well done.

a mobile revolution?

Hard to say, but the new phone named First Else is claiming it is redefining the mobile market as we know it. Taking a whole two years to develop because the designers started from scratch. The designers decided to develop a phone without any pre-existing requirements, limitations or guidelines. This approach has created a unique interface that is intuitive and has the ability to set a new trend in user interface and interaction design.

Ripped the story from here where there is a video of the interface design.

I was looking at Lynne Johnson's blog where I saw this behind the scenes video of Scion Flux Super 8. It is a great showcase of creative talent from various disciplines, styles and skills.
